Burglaries on the Cartmel Peninsula

The police are warning residents in this area to be extra vigilant and to keep your homes locked following burglaries in Allithwaite and Cark.

This warning was also given out on Radio Cumbria news.

The thieves have been sneaking in through unlocked doors and taking items such as purses and laptops. This is particularly mean during these difficult times.

Also there has been an incident on Fairfield in Flookburgh, where a cold caller has been offering to sell face masks.
